Action for Sustainable Development – ASUD has constructed a sanitary facility at Mtende primary school worthy 9.5 million Kwacha.

Speaking during a handover ceremony, ASUD Executive Director Thomas Ngwira says Malawi can quickly develop if companies and organizations assist government in its development agenda.

“Malawi can easily develop if NGOs take a leading role in partnering government in its development agenda. As ASUD, we decided to assist Mtende primary school as way of showing our corporate social responsibility in our impact area,” said Ngwira.

“This facility is girl child friendly as it has toilets, bathrooms and water. Not only that; it is also friendly to physically challenged people,” added Ngwira.
